Mission
The mission of the Sajjadia Islamic Society is to establish programs and services that facilitate the spiritual awakening of Shia Muslims in Corona, CA through the propagation of the true beauty of Islam and the active remembrance and practice of Islamic principles, as taught in the Quran and traditions of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (S) and Ahlul Bayt (AS).
Vision
The vision of Sajjadia Islamic Society is to establish a Shia Islamic community to maintain regular Islamic programs and community services that provide for the spiritual and social needs of the poor and needy. Sajjadia Islamic Society envisions an environment of love, understanding and fellowship with our brothers and sisters of humanity, which provides a true representation of Islam that is welcoming, resolute in faith, and firm in the advocacy of truth, justice, peace and the teachings of the Quran & Ahlul Bayt (AS).
Future Plans
Once construction permits are approved, Sajjadia will begin a comprehensive renovation of the property. Major planned improvements include seven bathrooms, a full parking lot, underground electrical service, HVAC, fire sprinkler system, new flooring, security cameras, and landscaping — all in compliance with City of Corona requirements. To fund construction, we are planning a formal community fundraising event targeting $50,000 or more, alongside major donor outreach and partnerships with regional Islamic organizations. Our goal is to fully fund the construction and significantly reduce our remaining mortgage. The grand opening of the Sajjadia Islamic Center will mark a historic milestone — a permanent, purpose-built home for the Shia Muslim community of Riverside County and beyond. The center will host regular Jummah prayers, weekly Islamic programs, Ramadhan and Moharram commemorations, youth activities, and community services. It is a vision that our community has worked toward since our founding, and with your support, it will become a reality.
